Grand Opening

So, we've been open for a little over three weeks now, and things are rolling along nicely at Fort Langley Cyclery. Here's a photo of the inside, in case you haven't visited yet and are just dying to see what it looks like:

There will be more photos available on our Flickr page. Soon, our real website will be up and running, so you can just go there (cyclery.ca) for everything you need, including our blog, some photos, and a link to our Flickr site.

But, more importantly...

Our Grand Opening is scheduled for this Saturday, March 20. The weather forecast looks great, and the festivities are exciting. It will be the grandest opening celebration this town has ever seen. Well, maybe. I'm sure there have been some pretty grand Openings in the past too.

But never has a grand opening included a contest to win a bicycle - we're giving away an Opus Classico!

100.5 FM The Peak will be broadcasting live, on location, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. And they'll be hosting a free BBQ lunch for everybody, so swing by and grab a smokie, a piece of cake, and some Sun-Rype juice.

While you're here, why not test ride a Bionx electric-assist bicycle. You'll be zipping around effortlessly in the glorious sunshine, thinking to yourself, 'I've never felt so alive!' Seriously, they are a lot of fun, and they are also quite practical.

The new LACC will be in attendance, with information on cycling in Langley and cycling safety. We'll also have a tent showcasing some stunningly beautiful Opus bikes, including the Amadeus, which features the new Campagnolo Athena groupset.

There are plenty of good reasons to check out Fort Langley Cyclery. Saturday will also be a great day to buy a bike. If you purchase a bicycle on Saturday, you'll get 15% off all the accessories that you buy with it. The savings could be astronomical!
